I laughed and marvelled at my seven year old daughter who while playing chess came up with a new direction she called verontical’. I insisted playfully there is horizontal, diagonal and vertical at the same time looking at her in awe, enjoying her new direction. What I saw was what the youth as always brought, and that is a newness of thought. I am blessed to have her and know that she appreci-loves’ me, happy that I am around. We are not always a happy family but our individual growth as been down to us all working towards harmony acceptance and inclusion.
