Pablo Imani breathes into the posture known as the Crow/Crane in Hathor Yoga set within the Temple of Isis

It takes bravery, courage and daring to go into the crow/crane posture. One would need a sense of adventure, you do not want to fall over and land on your head. There is a great deal of flexibility and strength involved.

The Crane is a symbol of wisdom, longevity, happiness. In Africa the crane symbolised loyalty honor and courage.

*Among the AmaXhosa of South Africa, the word for blue crane is “indwe”. When a man distinguished himself by deeds of valour, or any form of meritorious conduct, he was often decorated by a chief by being presented with the feathers of this bird. After a battle, the chief would organise a ceremony called ukundzabela – a ceremony for the heroes, at which feathers would be presented. Men so honoured – they wore the feathers sticking out of their hair – were known as men of ugaba (trouble) – the implication being that if trouble arose, these men would reinstate peace and order.

The crow is a great representative of the spiritual warrior as in Africa it represented protection, the magi and the warner. The spiritual warrior is boundless on the quest to transcendence utilizing strength of will, flexibility of mind and courage from the heart all of which is tantamount to this aim. The ability to take risks is key to living. The crow posture teaches us to be assertive yet harmonious. The posture psychologically promotes personal power it also assist in developing personal boundaries and de-constructing aggressive passive behaviour.

The crow in ancient Africa also symbolised married happiness a key component of this would be to learn from the past but don’t hold onto it. Let go of past hurts as any longterm married couple would advise.

The Crow was known to be a shape-shifter and teaches us to mentally shape-shift, reminding us to be eloquent and harmonious.

Both the crow and crane is known to take the spirit to the other realms. Get on board, this African bird is about to take off.

We are now in a new cycle and energetic shift, there is a great sense of change yet the feeling of buoyancy is low. This maybe a time to see our past mistakes and make the strides to clear, declutter and embrace healthliving in body mind and spirit.

Once we see where we have slipped on the life path. We now have the opportunity through yogic practices to make the changes from the past that will positively impact on our present karma.

One tool is forgiveness of those we feel have hurt us and to ask for forgiveness of ones we may have hurt or harmed either consciouly or unconciously. Start with forgiving yourself for the harm that you may have caused either knowingly or unknowingly. This is known as Meri-Meditation Meri meaning love or the beloved in Ancient Afrika in the smai/yogic sense this love is a pervasive love in Budhhist philosophy known as Metta Meditation known as loving kindness, compassion for oneself and others.

See how the energy lightens when you let the hurts go and allows the energy flow towards a moveable force that gives the ability to rise and move forward with life. Compassion is agreat protection to unwanted negativity of mind and spirit. It aids in restful sleep, relaxation, and bodily tension.

Take time, see what needs pruning, dusting, polishing, replace the old doormats, cleans the window of the soul and focus on your healing and allow the beloved to blossom in your life.

A world where women are the presidents and the prime-ministers of every country, imagine a world where corporations had hearts instead of heads and the hearts of all the corporations where women. Women not she-men of androgyny…… but gynic-women, womb-men, women whose femininity took central place to their existence.

This earth would be renamed Water, as fluidity would take the rightful place in the minds and bodies of the residents of the planets. Emotional intelligence would not need to be taught in special courses because everyone would automatically communicate from the heart. People especially boys would cry more to wash away their sorrows and cry in joys of laughter at the inextricable ebbs and flows of life. Cities, Buildings, tools and most objects would be circular to reflect miraculous beauty of nature and the geometry of the universe the female form instead of the angular square forms of masculine dominance.

Children play happily in the naturally environmental themed playground, in the center of the corporate building. Communal living is the standard of the day as the women wishes to feed everyone and share resources as I saw my own mother do while growing up. A brave new world where men don’t need to fight; there will be no pressure to go to war for motives governed by mind and ego. Love making is the activity that would be funded by corporation and co-operatives, with slogans like ‘joy in intimacy’ ‘Love in Union.’ War on terror or War on drugs only exist in a faint and soon to be dead world, not that the earth world would be dead as many have foretold only the angular headed people that live in it. These men will die because they are no longer reflections of the sacred form of the universe.

On planet Water the mountains are luminous and yes the volcanoes still erupt creating new lands and continents, the flowers are cultivated and animals live in peace with the womb-men, the lions roam and Giselle jump playfully through the lush expanding fauna, the males play with their children with soft voices and sex their mates as often and in any way she wishes, using extra sensory perception. All women and men are orgasmic and each orgasm is used as one of the sources that power their world with etheric love energy. Planet Water is cleansed through the water currents and wave upon wave allows for new ideas and expanding thoughts, there is hardly any dead in the ground because there are hardly any disputes, death is transitory and seen as such. As people live longer and choose to pass on when they no longer see the need to remain attached to what will pass away. This has been grasped in the playgrounds schools and universities where it is taught and adequately accepted when young….. Imagine.
