Even though books are of course important to us right now we need money approx 3 mill Uganda Shillings which is close to £900 in order to adequately house the books for childrens and students use.

We are renovating and getting the library/resource centre ready.

On the 22 May 2011 we had a decorating party for the project to renovate the shell like small crumbling building. We invited friends and supporters over for ‘Eat for literacy’ day where we fed them in turn for assisting us in cleaning and plastering the centre. We managed to get the building plastered in a day and it is now ready to be painted and for shelves to be put up.

We need your help to continue our fundraising efforts. This could be a simple cook up at your home, a pub quiz or a sponsored walk. Whatever you can do to raise awareness to our cause is helpful. Alternatively, you can also simply advertise us on your page.
